Hello and Welcome.

Hi there, I’m Brian! Not Bryan or brain though the latter allows me to concept the big ideas as an art director. Following in the footsteps of my grandpa who was an art director in the 50’s-70’s and his grandfather, a dutch impressionistic painter I grew up with a passion for the arts and design. I’m a native New Yorker with a Charleston drawl, fluent in sarcasm and yall’s, equipped with a big heart and introverted at times. Most days I like to live like a Van Gogh or Vanderbilt but not to be confused with my sir name Vander Schauw. Born to a humble socioeconomic single parent household, I learned at a young age the importance of dreaming big, being driven and resourceful which lead to the intersection of being creative, entrepreneurial and openminded. I would later have opportunities to travel and live in slums of developing countries as well as modern European ones while experiencing unexpected loss of loved ones. All of which taught me important values of life, lessons in integrity, leaving a legacy and shaking up the status quo in a world that we may not be on tomorrow.

Native in English, fluent in sarcasm, have the basics down in German, Dutch and Swahili

Lived in six different cities; Port Jefferson. NY, Charleston SC, Nairobi Kenya, Savannah GA, Hamburg Germany and now NYC

Other goals in life:

2. Have a coffee farm in Kenya and using the profits to build schools in impoverished areas

Dreams I once had:
